L'oreal infallible nail polish review
I do love a good multitasking product which you may have gathered from my previous blog posts. Anything that does more than one job or is travel friendly in any way immediately grabs my attention. I soon as I saw these L'oreal infallible nail polishes I knew I had to check them out.
It has a nail colour at one end and a matching top coat on the other. In most cases

Zoeva makeup tote Zoe bag - review
I've been looking for the perfect travel makeup bag for years. I usually have one bag for makeup, one for toiletries and another for brushes. I've found a few that have come close to being right and that work for a weekend trip but I have never found anything that fits everything in that I need for a two week vacation.
Then I discovered the makeup tote Zoe bag from Zoeva and my search is finally over. This is the best travel makeup bag I have ever seen! Can you tell that I love it just a little bit :)

Multitasking makeup - Sleek face form
Lately I've been searching for any products that do more than one job or are super compact for travelling. Whenever I go on vacation I seem to end up with way too many products that take up valuable luggage space.
My latest find, the face form palette from sleek is a blush, highlighter and bronzer for contouring all in one. Sleek face form in the shade 'light'.
I was super impressed with

Urban Decay Naked palette review with swatches
A few weeks ago I finally purchased the Urban Decay Naked2 palette I'd been eyeing for a while and within a few days I'd ordered the original naked palette too. I was so impressed with the pigmentation of the shadows that I was instantly hooked! I wasn't planning on buying the Naked3 as it has more rose and pink type shades which don't suit me as much but I have a feeling the urge to complete the set will force me to get it anyway :) The original and Naked2 palettes really do live up to the hype in my opinion.
Here's a closer look at the Naked Palette - check out my review of the Naked2 here
The first thing I noticed when I opened the box is

Urban Decay Naked 2 pallete - first look and swatches
To say I'm late to the party would be an understatement but I've finally bought myself an Urban Decay Naked pallete. I've been admiring them for quite some time now but the main reason I haven't given in and bought one is due to my love of MAC eyeshadows. I use MAC shadows pretty much every day and have about six favourite shades that I use all the time so I was worried that I wouldn't get much use from it.
The last few weeks however, I've found myself really drawn to

Bargain dupe for batiste XXL volume dry shampoo
Hey everyone,
I want to start with an apology for the lack of posts lately. I've had a mad couple of weeks resulting in a job offer and now a house move in a couple of weeks so I've been crazy busy!
I wanted to let you know about a beauty bargain I stumbled across recently which I've been really impressed with. If you watch my you tube videos you'll know how much I love Batiste XXL volume dry shampoo. In all the craziness of the last couple of weeks I hadn't realised I was running low and suddenly found myself with an empty can. I was at my local Wilkinson which didn't have any Batiste dry shampoo but they did have their own version of volumizing dry shampoo for a bargain £1!
I decided it can't possibly be any good for that price but

Mac paint pots - review
I've been loving my mac paint pots recently and they're especially great when I'm in a bit of a rush. Usually I use my Urban Decay primer potion and then several different eyeshadow shades to create my desired look for the day but if I have no time for such elaborate artwork one of my Mac paint pots always comes to the rescue
I don't need a separate eye primer so it saves time there and I find

Thirsty skin? - Clinique moisture surge
I've been meaning to try the Clinique moisture surge moisturiser for the longest time and I spotted it at the cosmetics company outlet at Gunwharf Keys in Portsmouth for £26 (normally £34) so I got a bargain too. It's also very reasonably priced on amazon
The Clinique moisture surge extended thirst relief moisturiser offers super hydration for the skin. It has a very light, gel type formula which feels really nice when

Beauty and the sleep
It may be due to the hot weather we've been having here in the UK but recently I seem to be incapable of sleeping properly. I don't usually have any trouble actually falling asleep and maybe wake up once during the night if I'm unlucky but the last few weeks I've run the full gamut of laying awake for hours, waking up feeling completely overheated, waking up confused, waking up at the slightest noise outside, feeling like I haven't slept at all when I wake up - you get the picture!
I decided I need to take action and I wanted to share a couple of items for anyone who is suffering from similar insomnia nonsense.

Finally, the perfect red lip!
Over the years I've tried so many red lipsticks, glosses, pencils etc etc and I've never quite found the right one. Until now! to make it even better it's a drugstore product :)

Some love for long hair - Pantene expert age defy range
I've noticed more and more anti-ageing hair care ranges appearing on the shelves recently. At first I thought these were aimed at a slightly older age range but then I realised that if you have very long hair like me then you could really benefit from this. Hair grows approx 15cm per year so the very ends of my hair are probably between three and four years old.
Most of these ranges claim to thicken the hair and make it appear more full which is something I definitely need. I picked up the Pantene expert age defy shampoo and conditioner and I've been really impressed so far
My hair definitely feels

Smashbox fade to black eyeshadow pallete review
I decided recently that I definitely need to try some new eyeshadow palletes. I reach for my Mac shadows almost every day and I love them so much that I'd never try anything else unless I forced myself!
I spotted this pallete from Smashbox called fade to black and it had 50% off so I got it for £16 rather than £32. Obviously it was a great deal but I still found it hard to part with the £16 when I know I have my beloved Mac shadows at home :)

Elf Haul
I received an email from elf a few days ago which said over 100 items were back in stock. I've been waiting for one product in particular which has been out of stock for months now so I quickly headed over to the website and was thrilled to see it was back and there was a 50% off sale! With the 50% off it would have been rude not to get a few bits so here's what I got :)

My favourite hair care and styling products
I'm a bit obsessive when it comes to hair products and I have a pretty massive collection of half used lotions and potions but there are a few that I repurchase over and over. I have very long hair so looking after it can feel like hard work at times. My hair is very flat with no volume or body at all but on the plus side that does mean no frizz issues. It does mean I have to use heat to get some volume into it though. Here's a pic to show you how long it is
So here are my

Review of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter
I'm a bit late to the party especially being a huge Harry Potter fan but I finally got around to visiting the making of Harry Potter studio tour. It was so amazing to see the real props and sets used in the Harry Potter movies and it really opens your eyes to the amount of work that went into making each film. As well as seeing the great hall and other sets from the movies you get to see costumes, props and interesting facts about the making of the movies. They often have special events and tour guides giving talks on various subjects and you can even try butterbeer and ride a broomstick! If you prefer a more structured tour there is also an option to use a digital guide as you walk around. I thought I'd share a few pictures with you so spoiler alert if you haven't been yet!

Some love for lily white legs this summer - Sally Hansen airbrush legs
Are your legs so white that you feel like they sometimes look blue? Yup, mine too!
It doesn't really bother me in the winter but when bare leg season comes around it fills me with dread! Regular fake tan also fills me with dread! I really don't tan well and I'm not a fan of lying in the sun and definitely don't like to use sunbeds.
People always tell me to use a good, natural fake tan or get a spray tan but those of you with super pale skin will know that fake tan, even the lighter shades always look to dark or orangey and if you miss a bit or it starts to fade it looks super obvious with your white skin beaming through!
After all this time I have actually found something to take the edge of the whiteness. It's

Foundation primer you NEED to try
I picked up the Max Factor facefinity all day primer after seeing a glowing review on another blog and the praise was definitely justified.
This primer was originally an ingredient within a max factor foundation but there was a lot of demand for it to be released as a stand alone product which Max factor listened to and here it is. It claims to extend the wear of your foundation which it 100% does.
This primer isn't designed to

Happy Sunday Bloggie readers :)
There's a couple of Sigma brushes that I've had my eye on for absolutely ages so I finally decided to treat myself and get them. I don't order from Sigma too often due to the shipping charges (more on that shortly) but their brushes really are great quality and there's so much choice
I've seen and heard so much hype about the Sigma

Don't lose your lashes! Hello Kitty false eyelash case
Just a quick post :)
I love wearing false lashes and as a result I have quite a few sets. The problem is, they always end up getting left lying around all over the place when I take them off especially when I travel. Then they end up getting ruined, lost or covered in dust etc.
I try to keep them in the original packaging but sometimes it falls apart or gets lost and just isn't a good place to keep them so I decided I needed a solution and got myself this super cute Hello Kitty false eyelash case :)

Rimmel lasting finish colour rush balm review
Hey Everyone,
Sorry if I seem ridiculously excited in this post but I'm absolutely loving this product and it's rapidly becoming one of my favourites. I picked up one of the Rimmel lasting finish colour rush balms a few weeks ago and I only got it as there was a 3 for 2 deal in Boots and I needed one more thing. I got the shade 'on fire' which is an orangey red colour. I didn't realise how great it would turn out to be for a random impulse purchase!
I found it super easy to apply and used it early in the morning when I was getting ready for work. I looked in the mirror a few times throughout the morning and I couldn't believe how well it was lasting! I'd eaten breakfast, had several drinks and been talking all morning and the colour was still really vibrant and had barely worn off at all. I find it really difficult to find lip products that last really well so I was a very happy bunny!
I used it on several different days that week in case

Shopping in Brighton
Happy Easter :)
I went to Brighton yesterday for a shopping trip with my sis in law who lives there - I LOVE Brighton! It's the best place ever for shopping. They have loads of really unusual shops that you won't find anywhere else as well as high end stores and all the usual high street stuff too so there's everything you could want.
We started out in North Laines where all the awesome, unique little shops are. I loved all the Easter themed window displays with loads of lovely, pretty things which were begging me to buy them! I really had to restrain myself from buying everything I liked

Loreal True match foundation review
Hey :)
I've finally got around to trying Loreal True Match foundation which I've been meaning to do for a really long time so I wanted to do a quick review for you. Boots had a 3 for 2 offer on so I got a bit of discount on the usual £9.99 price tag. I always find it difficult to choose the right shade of foundation with the bright lighting most shops seem to have. I went for shade D1.W1 (golden ivory) which is slightly more yellow toned and one of the palest shades they have. They had a good range so everyone should be able to find one to suit them.

Review - My first Glossybox
Hi Everyone,
I've been thinking about signing up to Glossybox for a while now and seeing different bloggers post about their March box made me go for it. For those who aren't familiar with Glossybox it's a subscription service where you get a box each month containing five miniature beauty products and sometimes full size ones. The March box contains four full size products! The value of the products you get should always be more than what you pay each month and the products will be a surprise, you can't choose what you get.

New Tanya Burr lips and nails review
Hey Everyone,
I was super excited to receive a package I ordered from Superdrug of some products from the new Tanya Burr range. I love Tanya's you tube channel and blog so I couldn't wait to try her new lipglosses and nail polish.
I went to my local Superdrug to see if they had the products in stock but when I asked they said the range will only be available online and not in any of the stores. I was certain I'd heard that selected stores would be stocking it but it's easy to buy online and arrived fairly quickly.
I always wear bright lip colours so I chose an orange shade, a pink and a red. When they arrived they all looked quite similar in the packaging but as you'll see they look different when you apply them. I also got a nail polish but only one as my nails are pretty rubbish so I don't paint them very often. I chose 'bright and early' which is a peachy coral shade. I really love the names of all the products. Tanya explained in one of her videos that she named them after all her favorite things. I think I'll have to get the nail polish called mischief managed just because I'm a huge Harry Potter fan :)
The first thing I noticed when I applied the gloss is

Sleek makeup - first look
Hey guys,
For some reason I've only recently discovered Sleek makeup and I really wish I'd discovered it sooner as the few products I got I was super impressed with! This is a first look post rather than a review so I haven't used these products enough yet to give a proper review which I'll do later on.
I definitely want to try more things but I just got a few to start with as it was a new brand to me and I didn't know what to expect. I'd heard great things about the I-Divine eyeshadow pallets so I got one in the shade Au Naturel

Orange lips for Spring and Summer - Review of Revlon colorburst matte balm
Hi everyone :)
Orange seems to be everywhere right now especially when it comes to lip colour so despite my super pale skin I thought I would give it a go. Orange looks great on tanned peeps so I wasn't sure if this would work for me. I picked up the Revlon colorburst matte balm in shade 245 (Audacious) which is a really gorgeous colour and I always prefer matte lip products so I thought this would be a good choice for my first attempt at orange lippie
It was really easy to apply and I didn't need

Professional Beauty show 2014 at ExCel London
I went to the professional beauty show in London on Sunday which was great but super busy!! I was mainly there to pick up some new makeup and hair stuff as lots of the companies who were exhibiting supply salon equipment and spa treatments etc so I knew I would bypass quite a bit of it. To be honest I knew NYX would be selling their products there at a discount so that was my main mission! We got there about an hour after it opened (I dragged my poor hubby along with me) and we had to pick up our entry badges first
Once we were in I should have
